Cinnaminson High School Football Team Drops Playoff Opener
The Pirates fell to Buena in the quarterfinals on Friday night.

The Cinnaminson High School football team was down by just seven points at halftime, but the game slipped away from the Pirates in the third quarter.
As a result, fourth-seeded Buena defeated No. 5 Cinnaminson, 28-7, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group II playoffs Friday night, according to nj.com.
Buen will visit No. 1 West Deptford, a 33-25 winner over No. 8 Overbrook, in the semifinals on Friday night, Nov. 20.

Buena turned a 7-0 halftime lead into a 28-0 lead going into the fourth with three touchdowns in the third quarter.
The Pirates’ lone score came in the fourth, a a 45-yard touchdown pass from Shaun Davilla to CJ Berroa.

Cinnaminson is 7-2 this season, and will visit rival Delran on Thanksgiving.
