Cinnaminson High School Football Team Looking For More In 2016

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Cinnaminson High School football coach Mario Patrizi tells the Courier Post the decision to switch Shaun Davilla from wide receiver to quarterback heading into Davilla’s junior year boiled down to the team putting its best athlete at quarterback.

“He was our best option,” he told the newspaper. “No doubt about it.”

In his first year at the position, Davilla for 836 yards and 15 touchdowns, threw for 957 yards and 14 more touchdowns, and helped lead the team to a 7-1 record and berth in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs.

The Pirates have 12 starters back on offense, including the now-senior Davilla, and are looking to make a deeper run in 2016.
