Cinnaminson High School Football Team's Ranking Drops After Loss
Where is the Cinnaminson High School football team ranked this week?

CINNAMINSON, NJ — After beginning the season ranked No. 4, the Cinnaminson High School football team has dropped in the latest NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 rankings. After Friday night's 21-0 loss to Sterling, Cinnaminson is now 10th in the standings, which are used to determine which teams make the playoffs at the end of the season.
A team earns six points for a win, plus between one and five points, depending on what group the team it defeated is in, and a residual point for each win that team has. A team’s first eight games count toward its final point total, but the lowest point total among these games is dropped, so seven total games count toward the final tally. The top eight teams in each group qualify for the playoffs at the end of the season.
