Cinnaminson High School Senior Wins Cross Country State Championship

Michael Ungvarsky edged South Jersey champion Devin Hart to win the title.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Cinnaminson High School senior Michael Ungvarsky is a state champion.

A week after finishing second in the South Jersey Group 2 championship meet, Ungvarsky won the state title by completing the course at Holmdel Park in 15 minutes, 58 seconds, edging Pt. Pleasant Boro sophomore Devin Hart, according to nj.com.

Hart won the South Jersey title the previous weekend.

They will both run in the 45th NJSIAA Meet of Champions on Saturday, Nov. 19, 11 a.m. back at Holmdel Park.

As a team, Cinnaminson finished sixth, with a total time of one hour, 28 minutes, four seconds.

The top three teams at top 10 finishers advanced to the Meet of Champions.
