Cinnaminson High School Softball Team Advances to Playoff Semifinals
Cinnaminson advanced with a 2-0 win over Overbrook.
Cinnaminson, NJ -- Winning pitcher Rebecca Martino tossed a shutout, allowing just two hits, to lead the fourth-seeded Cinnaminson High School softball team to a 2-0 win over No. 5 Overbrook in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs on Wednesday, according to nj.com.
Martino struck out four and walked two in the win.
Jessica Farris had a double and an RBI. The Pirates’ runs came in the second and sixth innings.

Cinnaminson will visit top-seeded West Deptford, a 12-4 winner over Middle Township, in the semifinals on May 31.
Cinnaminson opened the playoffs with a 19-0 win over No. 11 Medford Tech on Monday.
