Cinnaminson Introduces $14.49 Million Budget With Tax Increase

The small increase is due to statutory expenditures.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Cinnaminson Committee has introduced a $14.49 million budget that includes a proposed tax rate increase of 2 cents per $100 of assessed property value, the Burlington County Times reports.

The tax increase means the owner of the average home in Cinnaminson assessed at $232,100 would pay an additional $46.42 in taxes annually, according to the report. The increase is due to statutory expenditures, and no cuts in staff or services are expected.

The township plans to use about 25 percent of its $950,000 in surplus funds to balance the budget, according to the report.
