Cinnaminson To Launch Fireworks For USA's 250th Birthday

The township doesn't typically have an Independence Day fireworks show. But things will be different for the Semiquincentennial.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson is planning a community event with fireworks to celebrate the nation's 250th birthday, according to Mayor Ryan Horner.

The gathering will take place in July. It will also feature music, food, games and rides, Horner said during Monday's Township Committee meeting.

The event date and location are to be determined.

Cinnaminson typically doesn't hold a Fourth of July fireworks show. But many celebrations will take new shape, especially around Philadelphia, for the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
