Cinnaminson Library Closes Amid Coronavirus Concerns

CINNAMINSON, NJ — All branches of the Burlington County Library System, including Cinnaminson, are closed until further notice in an attempt to prevent the spread of new coronavirus, officials announced.

As a result, all programs, events and space rentals are also cancelled. Mobile Library, Library by Mail, Inter library Loan and the Museum Pass Program are all unavailable at this time. They are not accepting returns through library book drops, and they are not currently accepting donations.

There will be no fines or fees assessed on any items that are currently checked out. All library cards that are set to expire will be extended until June.

“We encourage customers to engage with us virtually through our website which provides access to online resources, streaming movies, ebooks and audio ebooks 24/7,” library officials said.

The New Jersey Department of Health has partnered with the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System to open and operate a call center (1-800-222-1222) for public use regarding questions, concerns, and other information related to coronavirus spread in New Jersey.
