Cinnaminson Lidl Open For Business

CINNAMINSON TWP., NJ – Lidl opened its Cinnaminson grocery store on Wednesday, the company’s 23rd location in the Garden State, the company said in a press release.

“We are very pleased that Lidl will now call Cinnaminson home and are extremely happy to include them in our growing business community,” Cinnaminson Township Mayor Stephanie Kravil said in a press release.

Lidl’s opening is “another success story for our Route 130 corridor,” Burlington County Commissioner Dan O’Connell told Patch.

“Not only is Lidl creating new jobs, it is also providing residents from underserved communities with an accessible, alternative destination to shop for fresh, affordable groceries,” he continued.

Lidl also carries items that other grocery stores do not, Chandler Spivey, a company spokesperson told Patch.

“Our selection of unique, specialty items and household staples will make Lidl a one-stop shop for customers in the area,” she said. “Convenience for shoppers is our number one priority when deciding on a location for a store and we know the site in Cinnaminson will offer the community easy access to our simple shopping experience”

Some South Jersey residents including Dolores Riley and Norman Ross who both live in Cinnaminson, told Patch although there are already several other grocery stores in town, they would still be willing to give the new Lidl store a try.

Another South Jerseyan, Therese Garbett, also felt having multiple grocery stores in the same town was a “plus.”

The Lidl store in Cinnaminson will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, according to the company press release.
