Cinnaminson MedExpress Helps Make Holidays Merrier for Children in Need

It participated in a program to collect close to 300 toys and other gifts for children in need.

The Crossroads’ Programs and seven South MedExpress Urgent Care locations help make the holidays merrier for hundreds of children and youth.

They came together to collect close to 300 toys and other gifts, which were then distributed to at-risk children and youth in Crossroads’ treatment and community programs.

“Any time you can put a smile on a child’s face or bring joy to a youth who may not be used to feeling loved, I think it’s a victory. We are thrilled that MedExpress helped us make our vision of giving holiday gifts to all those at-risk children and youth in our region a reality,” Crossroads Programs CEO Michael Snyder said. “This is the first time that Crossroads and MedExpress have partnered together on an effort such as this, and I think everyone would say it was extremely successful.”

The MedExpress locations in Willingboro, Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, Hamilton Square, Mount Ephraim, Runnemede, and Woodbury served as drop-off points for gifts suitable for infants through youth up to 18 years of age for several weeks, starting in mid-November and ending on December 18. MedExpress also collected personal care items, as well as cash and check donations for Crossroads Programs.

“It was truly our privilege to partner with Crossroads Programs, which shares our commitment to supporting children and families in South Jersey,” Brandon Peña, MedExpress Field Marketing Coordinator, said. “We look forward to future opportunities to work with Crossroads Programs and continuing to create strong, healthy communities.”
