Cinnaminson Native Named to All Academic Field Hockey Team
Stephanie Bacho is a 2008 graduate of St. Charles Borromeo School who attends Gwynedd-Mercy.

St. Charles Borromeo School alum and Gwynedd Mercy University junior Stephanie Bacho continues to collect accolades.
Bacho, a 2008 graduate from Cinnaminson, was recently named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Field Hockey Team.
To be considered for the Academic All-Area Team, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.20 GPA and be a starter or significant reserve for his/her respective team.

The squad consists of players from area Division I, II, and III schools and is voted on by the sports information directors at the 28 colleges and universities in the metro area.
Bacho has already been named a first-team All-CSAC selection, as well as a second-team All-South Region pick by the National Field Hockey Coaches’ Association (NFHCA).

She was also named the CSAC Championship MVP after scoring a hat trick in the Griffins’ fourth-straight title.
This season, she led the team with 21 goals and 51 points while adding nine assists. She was ranked second in goals and points in the CSAC and third in assists.
Bacho is enrolled in Gwynedd Mercy’s Medical Laboratory Sciences program.
