CINNAMINSON, NJ — The process for applying for a firearm has changed temporarily amid the outbreak of new coronavirus that has resulted in municipal buildings across the state being closed, including in Cinnaminson.
Applicants are required to mail payment by check to the Cinnaminson Police Department, according to police. The fee for an identification card is $5, and permits to purchase handguns are $2 each.

Approved ID cards and permits will be returned to applicants via certified mail. Delays in processing should be expected, police said. Once received, applicants will have to sign.
