Cinnaminson Police Honor Those Who Served For Veterans Day
Cinnaminson police honored members of the department who served for Veterans Day.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — Veterans Day is a day for honoring military veterans, and is held on Nov. 11 to mark the anniversary of the end of World War I. The Cinnaminson Police Department marked the occasion by posting photos of officers who have served in the military.
World War I’s major hostilities came to a close in the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. It was initially named Armistice Day, but was renamed Veterans Day in 1954.
