T-shirts will be available in a range of sizes.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Police Department will be selling T-Shirts to raise money for Relay for Life at the township’s National Night Out celebration on Tuesday night, Aug. 1. National Night Out is set for Tuesday, Aug. 1, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Memorial Park, with a fireworks show set for 9:15 p.m.

T-shirts will cost $14, and will range in size from youth small to XXXL. The police department said if it runs out of shirts that night, it will order more. Cinnaminson’s inaugural Relay for Life event is set for Saturday, Sept. 30, 6 p.m.-midnight at the Cinnaminson High School track.

The event chair is Cinnaminson Police Department School Resource Officer Michael Czarzasty. The Relay for Life Organization has set the township’s first year fundraising goal at $50,000. If the township meets its goal this year, it will be ‘endorsed’ for a second event next year.

In addition to T-shirt sales and fireworks, Cinnaminson’s National Night Out will include a professional BMX Bike Show. There will be police cars, fire trucks, military vehicles, face painting, an XFinity Inflatable Fun Zone, ice cream, shaved ice, pulled pork, cheeseburgers, chicken burritos, hot dogs, soft pretzels and much more. There will also be live music courtesy of ShopRite and DJ Doug Kirkwood.

JC Tours will provide busing from the Cinnaminson Middle School and Saint Charles Borromeo Church parking lots, police said. This will assist with parking congestion for the event.

National Night Out is an initiative in which people in towns across the country gather at their homes, on their streets and at their local community centers in recognition of their support of the community.

Local state and federal officials from 15,728 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide joined forces to celebrate the 33rd annual National Night Out (NNO) – a community crime and safety event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, ADT, Nextdoor.com, Association and Fun Flicks. Throughout the nation, along with the traditional ‘lights on’ and front porch vigils, there were tens of thousands of block parties, cookouts, and parades.
