This mission becomes more critical during "Danger Season," which starts in October when temperatures usually plummet. The children, particularly those living in temporary arrangements and are waiting to be adopted, feel the frigid temperatures and benefit directly from the contributions.

A pajama-decorated school bus will be parked at Cinnaminson Sam's Club for the duration of the week-long promotion. Donors are asked to drop off a pair of new pajamas or a new book on the bus. Pajama Program and Sam's Club will deliver the gifts to local children in need at the end of the campaign.

Pajama Program provides new pajamas and new books to children who live in group homes, shelters and temporary housing facilities and are shuffled often from one place to another. Many of them have been abandoned, abused or neglected.

Pajama Program has 64 chapters in 34 States and operates three Reading Centers: New York, NY; Yonkers, NY; and Red Bank, NJ.

This collection will be shared among children in need in New Jersey and Pennsylvania near the borders of both Cinnaminson and Philadelphia.
