Cinnaminson School Board To Review Draft Budget Thursday Night

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Public School District Board of Education will have a special meeting to review its draft budget before it is submitted to the county.

“It is still in a preliminary state and will have a public hearing in April,” Superintendent of Schools Stephen Cappello said Monday afternoon.

The special meeting will take place Thursday night, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room 120 of the middle school, 312 Forklanding Road.

The tentative public hearing on the budget is scheduled for April 28, according to the board meeting schedule posted on the school district’s website.

Last month, it was announced that the district would see a double-digit increase in state aid for the 2020-21 school year.

Cinnaminson schools will receive a total of $10,776,370 in state aid for the 2020-21 school year, according to Gov. Phil Murphy's administration. The increase comes out to $1,103,806, or 11.41 percent. Read more here: Cinnaminson Schools To See Double-Digit Increase In State Aid
