Cinnaminson School District Holds Invention Convention

CINNAMINSON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Welcome to the Cinnaminson Manual, where we highlight some important events coming up this week in and around Cinnaminson Township.

Topping the list this week is the Cinnaminson Township School District Invention Convention on Monday.

The event, which is in its 37th year, lets students in kindergarten through 12th grade show off their inner Thomas Edison (or other famous invention) and show ways to solve some of the problems facing the world today.

Then on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Masquerade Theatre in Riverside will hold auditions for its spring production, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

All aged 12 to 18 years are welcome. If chosen for a part, note that auditions are Thursdays 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 p.m. 4 p.m. beginning Thursday, April 7th, and the show’s performance dates are May 21, May 22 and May 23.

And on Sunday, April 3, at 10 a.m., a blood drive takes place at Temple Sinai Cinnaminson.

Patch has previously reported that blood donations are urgently needed.
