Cinnaminson Summer Tennis Lessons Begin Thursday

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Tennis lessons for Cinnaminson residents begin on Thursday, July 7, at Wood Park, according to the Cinnaminson Parks and Recreation Department.
Due to some initial confusion, lessons were originally announced as beginning on July 5.
"We apologize for any inconvenience," officials said on the Facebook page on Tuesday. "Please plan on arriving Thursday approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time."

Ike Johnson returns this year to provide instruction. He has been the instructor since 1998. Several other instructors will also help teach basic skills in the game of tennis.
The program is at the Wood Park Tennis Courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-noon from July 5-28.

The program for ages 5-9 is 9 a.m.-10 a.m., and the program for ages 10-14 is 10 a.m.-11 a.m. There is no fee for these two age groups.
The program for 15-year-olds, high school players and adults is 11 a.m.-noon, and costs $35, payable to Cinnaminson Township.
