Cinnaminson Swimmer Earns College Sports Honor

Natalie Smith, a Rowan University freshman, was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — A Rowan University freshman swimmer from Cinnaminson was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Athlete of the Week this week, the university announced.

Natalie Smith was named the NJAC Women’s Swimming Rookie of the Week on Monday, Oct. 22. Smith finished third (2:17.30) in the 200 butterfly in a meet at New York University (NYU).

In the same meet, Rowan’s Miranda Coughlan (sr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) the 50 free in 24.49. She also came in second in the 100 freestyle (53.53) and was a member of the second place 200 medley relay (1:51.23). She was honored as the NJAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week. NYU won the meet, 181-111.
