Why are you seeking office?

I am seeking office because I want to give back to the community that raised me.

I am proud to have attended Cinnaminson Public Schools, from kindergarten through high school.

Although Cinnaminson is a great town, I believe it needs a fresh set of ideas. That starts with open discussions with residents, listening to their needs, and following through on their behalf with transparency and accountability.

What additional measures would you suggest to build on one or two things that are done right now within the township?

I believe the redevelopment of the Route 130 Corridor will continue to be a great opportunity for Cinnaminson.

I would like to see us continue building on the existing redevelopment, focusing on attracting locally owned small businesses and supporting existing small businesses in our community. Throughout this process, I believe it is important to actively engage with residents, understand their priories and ensure that future development is thoughtful, responsible, and reflective of what our community wants and needs.

If you were to start your own board or commission, what would it be for and why? What issues would you want to address, or areas would you want to highlight?

I would start with a Community Relations Board responsible for spreading the message of township events, township spending, and future economic development projects being considered or proposed in town.

It should not be a challenge for residents to find information about the township’s doings. I would also like to set up weekly office hours where residents could speak with the Township Committee and other boards, ask questions, and present ideas and concerns in a less formal setting.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I bring a fresh set of ideas and goals to Cinnaminson. Our town has become stagnant when it comes to creating opportunities for local businesses to open and grow.

As development along the Route 130 corridor continues to expand, many businesses coming to town are large corporate chains that can leave just as quickly as they arrive. These developments often move forward without meaningful input from residents or transparency of what businesses are coming.

I am running to change that by engaging with residents and learning what types of businesses, restaurants, and other establishments they want to see in Cinnaminson.

I also believe the town’s business development process should be accessible and transparent, with information about proposed projects readily available to the public.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?

I am currently a practicing attorney. My job requires me to help people during some of their most vulnerable and challenging times.

This requires me to truly listen, understand their concerns, and work toward solutions that best serve their needs. This is the same approach I would bring to Cinnaminson township committee: listening to residents, understanding their needs, and acting on their behalf.

What's a motto you live your life by?

“Proper preparation prevents poor performance.”

What does it mean to you to represent Cinnaminson?

Representing Cinnaminson would mean so much to me. I am forever grateful for the childhood, education, and friends that Cinnaminson has provided me.

I would love the opportunity to help ensure all residents of Cinnaminson are provided with the same sense of community, opportunities, and experiences that made this town so special to me.
