CINNAMINSON, NJ — An alleged drug dealer from Cinnaminson has been arrested in connection with the fatal overdose of a Palmyra man she sold heroin to over the summer, authorities announced on Wednesday.

Colleen Wedge, 29, surrendered at the Palmyra Police Department Wednesday morning, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Palmyra Borough Police Chief Scott Pearlman announced.

She has been charged in connection with the fatal overdose of a 31-year-old man police found on the floor of his bedroom at his house on West Fifth Street in Palmyra on Aug. 9, police said on Wednesday.

Police said they found baggies of heroin in his bedroom. They were responding to his home on a report of an unattended death. Through an ensuing investigation, police said they learned that Wedge sold him heroin repeatedly, including the four bags police said lead to his fatal overdose.

An autopsy performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood concluded the cause of death was heroin and fentanyl toxicity, authorities said.
