Cinnaminson Wrestling Team Survives Two Close Matches to Improve to 16-0

The Cinnaminson High School wrestling team survived a pair of stiff challenges during a quad-meet at Egg Harbor Township High School on Saturday.
According to nj.com, the Pirates defeated West Deptford, 32-27, and Egg Harbor Township, 30-23. Cinnaminson defeated Gloucester Catholic in its other match, 84-0. Cinnaminson improved to 16-0.
Cinnaminson scored pinfalls in the two highest weight classes in its win over West Deptford.

Heavyweight Keith Swartley pinned John Maguire in one minute, and 220-pounder Tom Halecki pinned Max Finocchi in 1:36.
Ryan Teague scored a technical fall at 126 pounds.

Kevin Schoch (106), Ethan Schuler (132) and Anthony Pencock (138) each won by decision, while Pat Morton (160) and Zack Sireci (182) each scored sudden victories.
Against Egg Harbor Township, Shaun Davilla scored the Pirates’ only pinfall win, at 170 pounds. He pinned James Bower in 2:38.
Halecki, Swartley, Isaiah Ellis (113), Teague, Morton and Sireci all won their bouts by decision. Tyler Addlesberger won by forfeit at 195.
Against Gloucester Catholic, Schoch, Jahmil Williams (138), Curtis Hickson (145), Michael Dunleavy (152) and Morton all won by pinfall. Cinnaminson won all its other bouts by forfeit.
