Cinnaminson's Jess Simcoe Joins Felician College Women's Soccer Team

Simcoe helped lead the Pirates to the 2012 South Jersey title.

Cinnaminson High School alum Jess Simcoe is the newest addition to the Felician College women’s soccer team, the college announced Monday morning.

Simcoe graduated from Cinnaminson in 2013, and attended Lynchburg College as a true freshman in 2013-14, but did not play sports. She didn’t attend college last year, and will have four years of eligibility at Felician College.

The 5’10” Simcoe will play midfield and defense for the Golden Falcons.

Simcoe played for the Arsenal Fire at the club level while attending high school. She also helped lead the Pirates to the South Jersey Group II title in 2012.

Simcoe has signed an athletic financial aid agreement with the college, and will major in special education.

“Jess has competed at a high level,” Felician head women’s soccer coach Thomas Notte said.. “Her physical presence will be a nice addition to our team.”

Simcoe joins Giana DiTonto (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst), Madison Farley (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) and Sami Lederle (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) in the Felician women’s soccer Class of 2019.

Felician plays soccer at the NCAA Division II level. Felician competes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Golden Falcons open the 2015 campaign with a non-conference road match at Franklin Pierce University on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Felician was 11-5-3 last season.
