Cinnaminson's Trunk or Treat at Wood Park Set for Oct. 26
In-person registration will take place during Sunday's Cinnaminson Day at Wood Park

Cinnaminson will celebrate Halloween with a Trunk or Treat at Wood Park just in time for the holiday.
Trunk or Treat takes place Sunday, Oct. 26, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. for Cinnaminson residents. Children must be 12 years old or younger to participate in Trunk or Treat.
Organizers will be collecting canned goods and monetary donations for the Jane Weilenbeck Foundation, which greatly needs canned soup and boxed cereal, but donations are not required.

Children will be given bracelets at the event, and participating families are required to bring one bag of candy per child or two bags for families with two or more children.
Families of children who will be collecting non-candy treats are asked to supply those, as well.

In person registration for children and residents who wish to register their vehicles for this event takes place at Cinnaminson Day on Sunday, Oct. 12, noon-4 p.m. at Wood Park.
Interested participants can also email cinnaminsontrunkortreat@aol.com with their email address to receive registration instructions by email.
As of Friday, there were 150 spots open for a decorated car, tent (small please) or chair, or any other decorated spot for distributing candy, on a first come, first serve basis.
The registration fee is $5 cash or check made payable to Cinnaminson Township. The check will be turned in at check-in, and participants will be required to sign a registration/waiver with all of these guidelines at check in. Those participating in a “spot” do not have to bring additional candy, but organizers will need a child count.
Check-in is at 4:30 p.m., and no vehicles will be permitted to enter after 5:30 p.m. All spots must be occupied and decorated by 5:30 p.m., with judging at 5:45 p.m.
Each vehicle will receive a number for judging. The winner will receive $100, the second place finisher will receive $50 and the third place finisher will receive $25.
Decorations are limited to the width of the vehicle, no more than three feet beyond the vehicle. For safety reasons minors will not be allowed to walk/play in the setup area prior to 5:45 p.m.
Vehicles are not allowed to run idle during event.
Electricity will not be provided for decorating vehicles.
All candy/snack foods must be individually wrapped in sealed manufactured wrapping. No homemade foods are allowed, but age appropriate toys are acceptable. (stickers/tattoos/bubbles)
No open flames, fireworks, flammable liquids or alcohol will be permitted.
Particpants will need to have “treats” on hand for at least 300. One treat per child per vehicle. Additional candy will be supplied if participants run out.
All vehicles must remain in place until the end of the event, and volunteers will be in place to dismiss vehicles.
Disassembly/cleanup of decorations will begin at 8 p.m. Dismissal begins at about 8:15 p.m.
