Classic Car Show Benefits Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Veteran Care

More Than $8,000 Raised to Support Programs and Services for Vets and Their Families

The 7th annual Veterans Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show benefiting Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice was held Saturday, June 21 at Cherry Hill High School West. Organized by Samaritan Certified Home Health Aide Deborah Giacoboni and her husband John, the event raised more than $8,000 to support Samaritan programs and services for veterans and their families.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice cares for patients and families coping with a life-limiting illness. The experience of military service – particularly during traumatic combat assignments – can affect veterans physically, socially and emotionally throughout their lives, and especially at the end of life. Samaritan Veterans’ Hospice Services provide specialized care and education for veterans and their families. Samaritan also offers a Veterans Visiting Veterans program, where veteran hospice patients can be visited by veteran volunteers.
