Collingswood Resident Develops Scheduling App For Caregivers, Parents, Others

Collingswood resident Laura Renner has developed PictureUrDay, an app for iPad that helps parents, caregivers and children organize blocks of time in a busy family schedule, according to a press release.

She designed the app to introduce the benefits of patience and collaboration.  PictureUrDay demonstrates how kids can tolerate what they consider “unpleasant” tasks in a grown-up world.

By visualizing how those tasks fit into the day, kids are more likely to endure them with a smile rather than a scream, according to the release. Working on the schedule together with their parents and caregivers motivates kids, and prepares them for the potential of some fun a little later in the day.
