Comics, School Budget: Cinnaminson Monday Manual

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Welcome to the April 25 edition of the Cinnaminson Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up this week in and around Cinnaminson.

On Monday, a Comics Club for kids meets at 3:30 p.m. at the Maple Shade Library. The parents of children who wish to attend are asked to get in touch with the library before the event starts.

On Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Burlington County Library System puts on an event for babies and toddlers titled Mr. Scott the Music Man. Reach out to the library if you need additional information.

On Tuesday at 7 p.m., and again on Thursday at 1 p.m. Samaritan hosts an online discussion with an expert about advanced care planning – the process that allows people to make plans about their future health care. Contact Samaritan with any questions.

On Thursday at 5 p.m., the Cinnaminson School Board will meet in Room 120 in the Middle School to discuss the school’s budget for the 2022-2023 school year. The base budget that the school board agreed to in March was $61,661,788. The school district is slated to receive $15,411,272 under Governor Murphy’s proposed budget — a 25.82 percent increase over its state aid from the previous fiscal year.

And on Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, the Friends of the Cinnaminson Library is holding its annual book sale on the lower level of the library.
