Community Center Will Not Be Named After President Obama After All
Willingboro Council reversed course Tuesday night, the Burlington County Times reports.
Willingboro Council has decided not to rename their community center after President Barack Obama after all, the Burlington County Times reports.
Council voted last month to change the name of its township recreation center from the Kennedy Center to be named after the current president.
The building is a former high school, and on Tuesday night, high school alumni turned out to voice their disapproval of that decision, according to the report.

Council ultimately voted, 5-0, to keep the name.
