Cool to be From New Jersey? Learn the Evolution of The Jersey Joke at Cinnaminson Library
The Jersey Joke program is set for Friday, July 24, 2 p.m.

Bruce Springsteen and The Sopranos may have made it cool to be from New Jersey, longtime New Jersey residents understand that the Garden State has long been the butt, or armpit, of everyone’s jokes.
A program to be held Friday at the Cinnaminson branch of the Burlington County Library system will explore the evolution of the Jersey Joke.
“The Jersey Joke” takes place on Friday, July 24, 2 p.m.-3 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.

The program for adults is presented by Michael Aaron Rockland, PhD, Professor and Chair, Department of American Studies, Rutgers University, and sponsored by The New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
