Damaging Winds, Severe Thunderstorms May Hit South Jersey Thursday

Another round of severe weather may be on its way to South Jersey Thursday afternoon.

Strong damaging winds in excess of 60 mph and tornadoes are possible as there is a significant threat of severe weather in the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to develop around 3 p.m. and continue until around midnight.

Thunderstorms present the potential to produce torrential rainfall, and flash flooding is possible.
