Day 4 Silence! Large Sinkhole in street at Riverfront Development in Palmyra - AMCC Mgmt Co. Ignores Borough & Homeowners

Riverfront Residents desperate to hear from AMCC Management consider placing a trashcan at the scene. Only violations elicit communication!

Tony Sorrentino, Property Manager of Riverfront Development, was out of sight and unresponsive to the Borough of Palmyra, causing a 3-day delay before repairs began on a gaping hole on Riverfront Dr. in Palmyra.

Since Sunday, August 7, 2016, Riverfront homeowners and residents have yet to hear from Management, and have only been made aware of the situation upon driving to/from our homes and finding the only access road to be blocked indefinitely and left to speculate. The only information made available was provided when workmen were present at the scene, waiting to speak with Sorrentino, for which residents are most appreciative, as it was unknown how to access our properties and/or exit our development.

We were all advised to contact Sorrentino and request he call the Borough to expedite repairs. Since the road is owned by the Riverfront Development, the Borough needs approval to begin any work. Also, if he would contact the Borough Administrator, details would be made available on the Borough web site, via nixle and a reverse 911 call to everyone; but he failed to simply make one call, so despite work finally beginning on Day 4, AMCC Mgmt and Sorrentino remain out of sight and failing to respond to phone calls and emails left by homeowners and residents.

In this day and age with communication technology available, there is no excuse for residents to be stuck at a road block because a detour sign points to the Delaware River in one direction and a pond in the other and from the opposite direction, pointing to the woods and a pond. With a serious issue requiring an area be blocked off saying "Police Line Do Not Cross" "Danger" "Restricted Area" and "Sidewalk Closed" we should be apprised of the situation and planned resolution.

Tony Sorrention's salary and fees are paid by the homeowners of the Riverfront Development. He works for us and needs to be reminded of this!

Much credit to the Borough of Palmyra for securing the area and keeping residents and animals safe from day one! Thank you, Palmyra Police Department, Borough Administrator John Gural who was out on a hot, hot Sunday afternoon immediately, and Engineer Paul Henry as well as hard working Gordon and the entire crew for their work on these hot days!
