Deadline to Vote in School Referendum is Sept. 9
The total cost of the project is $43,726,295. Residents will be asked to fund $30,875,527 of that cost.

Cinnaminson residents have until Sept. 9 to register to vote in the special election concerning improvements in the school district.
The referendum on the renovation/expansion of the high school, as well as vestibule entrances for New Albany, Rush School, and Cinnaminson Middle School is set for Sept. 30.
Additional questions concern a new gym and new tennis courts.

The result of the vestibules will be a two-locked door system.
The total cost of the project is $43,726,295. Residents will be asked to fund $30,875,527 of that cost, with the state providing 40 percent of the total cost.

The high school was constructed in 1963, and this project represents the first significant renovations since, according to a post on the township’s Facebook page.
