Delran Teacher Participates in Holocaust Education Conference in D.C.

A Delran was one of 244 participants who took part in a conference at the U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., the Burlington County Times reports.

Jeff Green was among the educators who participated in the Arthur and Rochelle Belfer National Conference for Educators, a three-day workshop that helps educators effectively educate their students on the horrific event that left over six million Jewish people dead, according to the report.

The conference is held in light of growing anti-Semitism and increase in Holocaust deniers worldwide, according to the report. It was first held in 1993.

Green teaches students about the juvenile justice system in New Jersey.
