Dozens of Lovebirds Give Back to the 'House That Love Built' on Valentine's Day in Cinnaminson

CAMDEN, N.J. – Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey invites all to experience a fun-filled evening for couples, singles & groups on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Merion in Cinnaminson from 7:30 p.m. until midnight.

The 5th annual Wine & Chocolate fundraiser provides an opportunity for donors to help raise awareness & funds for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

The event is hosted by the Young Professionals Council, a local network of working professionals from across Burlington, Gloucester and Camden counties, who regularly volunteer for the House.

Friends from across South Jersey are invited to celebrate “the House that Love Built” with a wine tasting, a chocolate fountain, delicious food stations, chocolate desserts and a raffle that will include something for everyone.

The event will also offer a live band for guests to enjoy some dancing as well as a visit from our favorite man in red – Ronald McDonald himself.

Some of the Eagles Cheerleaders will also be stopping in join in on the fun.

Organizers expect to raise more than $15,000 for the Camden-based nonprofit, which serves as a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill and injured children during their medical treatments.

“We are grateful to have such an enthusiastic group of young professionals in our community who dedicate their extracurricular time to serve the families staying at the House,” said Teddy Thomas, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. “Many of these individuals are just starting out in their careers so it’s nice to see them take such an active role in providing service to others.”
