The Rundown

Who's On The Ballot?

  • State Senate: In the 7th Legislative District, which includes Cinnaminson, State Sen. Troy Singleton, a Democrat, will face Republican challenger James A. Fazzone.
  • General Assembly: Assembly Members Herbert C. Conaway Jr. and Carol Murphy — both Democrats — face Republican candidates Douglas F. Dillon and Eileen Bleistene.
  • Cinnaminson Township Committee: Two seats are available. Republican incumbents Ernest T. McGill and Ryan F. Horner face Democratic challengers Brian E. Turner and Erik Heyman-Meltzer. McGill currently serves as mayor.
  • Cinnaminson Township School District's Board of Education, full terms: Four candidates filed to run for three seats that have full, three-year terms available — Ed Kenney, Christine Trampe, John Meeker and Jeremiah "JJ" Horigan.
  • Cinnaminson Township School District's Board of Education, unexpired term: Board Member Daniel Evans, III is running uncontested for the one-year term. The board appointed Evans to fill a vacancy that opened up earlier in the year. As such, the original three-year term for the member he replaced, has an additional year remaining. So the district must hold a separate election to determine who fills the remainder of that term, as state law requires.
  • Board of Fire Commissioners for the Cinnaminson Fire Department: Roger Butler and Louis Vitsas are running in the non-partisan race.
  • Burlington County's Board of County Commissioners: Two seats are on the ballot. Democratic incumbents Tom Pullion and Balvir Singh are facing Republican challengers Alfonso Gambone and Larry Vernamonti.
  • Burlington County clerk: Democratic incumbent Joanne Schwartz faces Republican candidate Deborah Buzby-Cope.
