Voters cast their ballots in local, county and state primary elections on Tuesday.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- On the same night Hillary Clinton appeared to clinch the Democratic nomination in this year's presidential election, a pair of Democratic Party-backed candidates turned away challenges in their own county primary races on Tuesday.
Reva Foster defeated Margaret Schwelkert and Michael Miller to win the party's nomination in November's Board of Chosen Freeholders race, the Burlington County Times reports.
Foster will face Tiver Latham, who ran unopposed in the Republican Primary, in November's election.

Sander Friedman defeated Jeffrey Epstein in the Democratic Primary for County Surrogate, according to the report.

With 99 percent of precincts reporting, Frederick Lavergne defeated Jim Keady in the Democratic nomination for the Third Congressional District seat.
The Burlington County Democratic Party had endorsed LaVergne for the seat, while the Ocean County Democratic Party endorsed Keady in the rare inter-county race.
LaVergne will once again challenge U.S. Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-3), ran unopposed in the Republican Primary, in November. LaVergne ran an independent campaign in 2014, when MacArthur originally won the seat.
Locally, Howard “Bud” Evans was the lone candidate seeking the Republican nomination for the open Cinnaminson Committee seat in November's elections.
No Democrats filed petitions to run in the municipal elections.
