Ex-Cop, Firefighter Indicted For Sexual Assault Of Minor: Police
Tyler J. Chrupcala has been indicted for the sexual assault of a teenage girl.

A former Camden County police officer has been indicted in the sexual assault of a teenage girl, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced.
Tyler J. Chrupcala, 25, of Riverton, was indicted on four counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Chrupcala was arrested last year after the victim contacted police to tell report the incident, which took place at a home in Riverton in November. He was a Camden County cop at the time of his arrest, Coffina said.

Prior to that, he was a part-time cop in Burlington City, from March of 2014 through March of 2016, according to the Burlington County Times. He was also a firefighter in Riverton.
The indictment was returned Oct. 24 and signed by Coffina. An arraignment will be scheduled soon in superior court, Coffina said.

Police didn’t release any further details, including the victim’s name and age, and location of the crime, to protect the victim.
