A former Camden County police officer has been indicted in the sexual assault of a teenage girl, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced. Tyler J. Chrupcala, 25, of Riverton, was indicted on four counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Chrupcala was arrested last year after the victim contacted police to tell report the incident, which took place at a home in Riverton in November. He was a Camden County cop at the time of his arrest, Coffina said. Prior to that, he was a<a href="http://www.burlingtoncountytimes.com/news/local/prosecutor-former-cop-indicted-for-sexual-assault/article_2a6dcafe-baa0-11e7-9d3a-10604b9f1ff4.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> part-time cop in Burlington City</a>, from March of 2014 through March of 2016, according to the Burlington County Times. He was also a firefighter in Riverton. The indictment was returned Oct. 24 and signed by Coffina. An arraignment will be scheduled soon in superior court, Coffina said.
