Excessive Heat Warning in Effect for South Jersey
Heat indexes over 100 degrees are expected to continue on Monday.

An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for portions of South Jersey until 8 p.m. Monday night, according to the National Weather Service out of Mount Holly.
An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties in South Jersey through 8 p.m. on Monday.
Maximum temperatures will be in the mid-90’s, with heat index values between 100 and 105 on Monday.

Residents are advised to reschedule strenuous activities, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing and drink plenty of water.
Anyone overcome by heat should move to a shaded location. Anyone suffering from heat stroke should call 9-1-1.
