Fall Book Sale In Burlington County Set For November
The book sale at the Burlington County Library runs Nov. 21-24.
The Friends of the Burlington County Library, Inc. will host its annual fall book sale Nov. 21 to Nov. 24 at the Burlington County Library in Westampton, county officials announced on Wednesday. There will also be a special one-day pop up sale featuring a limited selection of books on Nov. 16. All proceeds benefit library programming.
The sale will include thousands of used books, all grouped by genre, in the library meeting room. A wide selection of DVDs and CDs will also be available. Hours for the book sale are as follows:
- Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Members of the Friends of the Burlington County Library are eligible to participate in a preview sale, which will take place on Nov. 21, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Residents can become a member in person for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family.

The sale will include both fiction and nonfiction titles, including children’s books, most priced at 50 cents to $1 each, plus, $2 DVDs and $1 CDs. This sale will also feature a large selection of vintage/collectible volumes, many from the 19th century, in pre-selected boxed lots priced at $10 per box, as well as early editions priced individually at $2.50 and up.
The first 300 shoppers who purchase items will receive $1 coupons that may be used at any upcoming Friends sale.

The pop up sale will be limited to a large selection of special collectible and “coffee table” books priced at $2.50 and up. That sale, held in the lobby space just outside the teen zone, will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
