The second inaugural event, called May Faire, offers a family-friendly, entertaining day of celebrating spring and taking a trip back to 1800s to recall the history of Smithville.

May Faire runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Smithville Park in Easthampton on Sunday, according to Burlington County.

There will be live music, theater performances, carnival games, historical docents, old-fashioned arts and crafts demos, food trucks and a baseball game featuring uniforms and rules of the late 1800s, the county said.

Throughout the day visitors can also walk Smithville’s grounds and, with a donation, take tours of Smithville Mansion, an 1840 Greek Revival Mansion where the man who bought the village of Shreveville and changed it into Smithville once lived, according to the county.
