First Store Reopens Following 2014 Fire at Columbus Market
Wicker Emporium, which has been part of the market for nearly 40 years, reopened earlier this month.

Wicker Emporium, one of the stores destroyed in a fire at the Columbus Farmers Market in 2014 has reopened, the Burlington County Times reports.
It is the first store destroyed in the fire that has returned. It opened on Sept. 19, according to the report.
The store, owned by the Strauss Family out of Mount Laurel, has been open at the market for 37 years, according to the report.

However, it was completely destroyed when Building 4 went up in flames two days shortly before Thanksgiving last year. A push from the family helped get the store open less than a year after the fire.
Work began to restore the building over the summer.

No one was injured in the Tuesday afternoon fire,which lead to the market being closed for eight days. It was open in time for Thanksgiving.
The market, which is open Thursday-Sunday, has been devastated by fire twice before, in 1968 and 1972, according to the farmers market’s website.
The market sits on 200 acres and includes indoor pavilion stores, an all-weather outdoor flea market, a self-storage facility and antique mall.
