Former Cinnaminson Resident Charged With Double Murder in Mount Holly

A former Cinnaminson resident has been charged with murder in the deaths of his girlfriend and her father, who were both found dead in the Mount Holly home where they all lived.
Dennis Pozniak, 27, was charged with two counts of murder, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Mount Holly Police Chief Thomas F. Mastrangelo announced Sunday afternoon.
He is accused of killing Nicole Wilson, 24, and her father Bryan Wilson, 52, inside the home on Washington Street sometime between Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

Pozniak, originally from Cinnaminson, had been living with his girlfriend and her family for several months at their home in the 200 block of Washington Street in Mount Holly.
Autopsies performed on Saturday by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood determined that death for both victims was caused by head trauma due to bludgeoning.

The investigation revealed that Pozniak was dating Nicole Wilson. The motive for the killings is still being determined.
Police were called to the residence at about 9 a.m. Saturday by a family member who awoke and discovered the bodies.
Pozniak was inside the residence at the time. He was taken to a hospital and treated for several lacerations that were believed to be self-inflicted.
Pozniak is being held at a medical facility pending a psychiatric evaluation.
His bail was set at $1 million. The investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Mount Holly Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
