Fountain Farms Playground Complete; Ribbon Cutting on Friday
All Cinnaminson residents are invited out to the park dedication.
The at is nearing completion and a ribbon cutting to officially open it will be held Friday afternoon.
Workers are out there today and the temporary fence will be taken down to add dirt, but tomorrow, neighborhood kids can use it.
“They are really excited about it,” Mayor Don Brauckmann said about neighbors he’s spoken to.

Brauckmann, also the director of parks and recreation, got resident feedback about the structure itself, positioning and planning.
“They’ve been patient through the process,” said Brauckmann.

This time last year, the township received the . That grant, for $185,000, was used for this structure and will be used for improvements to .
Fountain Farms hadn’t been first on the list however; previous grant money was going to the new bathroom and concession stand at . That .
The third part of the grant will be available to apply for this spring. So far, the township received more than $400,000 in grants for park improvements.
The structure at Fountain Farms came in around $12,000—that’s including the timbers that act as a fence around it.
The park also got a new merry-go-round spinner and swing sets. The parks department had those in stock already, Brauckmann said, waiting to move to their new home.
