CINNAMINSON, NJ — With Tuesday's uncontested primaries in the books, the general election showdown is set for Cinnaminson.

This November, residents will head to the polls again to select two Township Committee members. Cinnaminson residents will also elect school-board candidates, county officials and the 7th Legislative District's State House representation.

Only 8.9 percent of Burlington County's eligible voting population (31,530 of 355,848 registered voters) cast a ballot in Tuesday's primary elections, according to the county's tally as of noon Wednesday. But many residents, including Cinnaminson's, didn't have contested primaries on their ballots. (View the unofficial results below.)

Nov. 7's general election, however, will give Cinnaminson residents an important say in voting at the local, county and state levels of government.

In the general election, Republican incumbents Ernest T. McGill and Ryan F. Horner will face Democratic challengers Brian E. Turner and Erik Heyman-Meltzer.

All of New Jersey's State Senate and Assembly seats are also on the ballot this fall. In the 7th Legislative District, which includes Cinnaminson, the Democratic incumbents — State Sen. Troy Singleton and Assembly Members Herbert C. Conaway Jr. and Carol Murphy — will face the Republican ticket of Senate candidate James A. Fazzone and Assembly hopefuls Douglas F. Dillon and Eileen Bleistene.

Cinnaminson Township Public Schools will also have a Board of Education election this November, with four of the governing body's nine seats up for grabs. But the election field won't take shape until this summer, since school-board candidates around New Jersey have until July 31 to file petitions to get on the ballot. (School-board membership in the state is nonpartisan, so the elections don't have primaries.)

The Cinnaminson Board of Education seats on the ballot currently belong to Daniel P. Gaffney, Ed Kenney, Kathleen Quinn and Daniel Evans, III.
