"Girl's Night Out" presented by Comedy Works Bristol

Comedy Show for Women

The Comedy Works and Georgine’s Restaurant will present a special Girl’s Night Out “A Pajama Party” featuring a comedy show and buffet dinner on Thursday, May 4, 2017. The show will begin at 7:00 PM at the restaurant located at 1320 Newport Road in Bristol, Pa

Tickets for the special show are $22.50 per person and can be purchased at the Comedy Works Bristol, located inside of Georgine’s Restaurant. Prior to the show there is a special Buffet Dinner available for $42.50 per person and includes the cost for the show. There will be a cash bar along with cocktail service and drink specials. The show will feature 3 top women comedians and will be for “women only”.

Scheduled to perform are Carole Montgomery, Missy Grynkiewicz, Latice Klapa and Donna Ottena.

Carole Montgomery has performed in some of the top comedy clubs in the New York City area. She had moved to Los Angeles and was featured in over 2 dozen television shows, including Showtime's “Comedy All Stars 6” with Don Rickles and HBO’s “Politically Incorrect” with Bill Maher.

She appeared for 5 years in the Las Vegas revue “Crazy Girls” and then joined the “Midnight Fantasy” at the Luxor Hotel where she remained for 3 years. During her time in Las Vegas, Carole wrote & performed her one-woman show "Confessions of a PT&A MOM" in various theatres.

Besides being a comedian and writer, Carole is a wife and mother. She's been married for 30 years and has a 23 year old son, Layne. She was Vice-President of her son's school PTA and helped coach his Little League team for 7 years. She is now dealing with an adult son leaving home, her Peter Pan husband and living with her mother-in-law. The jokes write themselves. Though her onstage persona and offstage home life would seem to be on opposite sides of the spectrum, she juggles both with ease.

Missy Grynkiewicz is high-energy, commanding and versatile since it helped shape her early career as a school teacher and was the stepping stone for a career in Comedy. She was signed by Realize Records in 2012, her freshman CD, “Miss Representation”, made the first round Grammy nomination list for funniest comedy album and was picked up by Pandora radio. In 2013 she was the winner of the LOL at the Grand Opera House competition in Wilmington, Delaware.

She is a stand-up comic who has had the privilege to perform as the audience warm-up comic for the “Harry Connick Jr. Show”.

Missy’s personable, intimate, and captivating style is winning with a wide range of audiences as she has performed up and down the East Coast. Missy Grynkiewicz wants to live in a world where nobody is cranky out loud, menopause is a happy thing, pants are optional, laughter is required, and dogs are in charge.

LaTice Klapa is a comedian from South Jersey and travels city to city bringing her unique style of comedy to any audience. She has been doing stand-up comedy for over 8 years and was picked by the late David Brenner himself to tour in his "COMEDY STARS OF TOMORROW", where she performed at the Valley Forge Casino in Pennsylvania on a four night tour. She has performed in Las Vegas for the “World Series of Comedy” and was featured LIVE on ABC's “The View” for "Hilarious Housewives".

She has opened for some of comedy’s top headliners including Tony Rock, Jessica Kirson, and Dan Adhoot, just to name a few. LaTice can currently be seen on FUNNY or DIE for a hilarious comedy short called "FOR STARTERS".

Besides doing Comedy every week LaTice hosts the “Funny Bits Radio Show” every Thursday night on “Wild Fire Radio” at 6:45 pm EST!!!

Also on the show is a new funny comedian who is from the area, Donna Ottena who will open the show.

The cost for tickets is $22.50 per person in advance for show only and $42.50 for a special Deluxe Buffet served before the show which also includes admission to the show at 8:30 PM. All tickets can be purchased at the Comedy Works located inside Georgine’s Restaurant. The Comedy Works is celebrating 27 years of providing great stand-up live comedy every Friday and Saturday night at Georgine’s Restaurant and is the longest running comedy club in the Philadelphia/Bucks & Burlington County region.
