This classic rock musical is a product of the hippie counterculture and sexual revolution of the late 1960's. Follow the tribe through the "Age of Aquarius" as they fight against enrollment in the Vietnam War with love and the understanding of others. Ultimately, one member of the tribe is forced to decide whether he is going to resist the draft or succumb to the pressures of his parents and society. Let the sun shine in with the classic musical Hair at the Grande Theatre! The show runs through May 12.

10th Annual Green Festival

Safe Kids Day

Safe Kids Day is a fun day for young children and families, brought to you by AAA South Jersey and Safe Kids Southern New Jersey. The day will include free child car seat inspections, a moon bounce, and face painting, as well as information and exhibits from the Voorhees Police and Fire Departments, Camden County Department of Health, Camden County Highway and Traffic Safety, and the Brain Injury Alliance. Ferry Service to Fort Delaware
April 28 & 29 | 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Fort Mott State Park, Pennsville

The popular ferry service from Fort Mott to Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island returns! The ferry service will run on Saturdays and Sundays only until June 13th and then it returns to a Wednesday through Sunday schedule. Ferry times will be 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

Saturdays on the Crushpad

Hawk Haven Vineyard, Rio Grande

Live Music Series

Enjoy an afternoon of live music and wine tasting at Sharrott Winery! Live music will be on the patio overlooking the vineyard. Pine Barrens Discovery Tour

Pinelands Adventures, Shamong

Trek along the edges of the Mullica River and discover its secrets. Join Pinelands Adventures Naturalist, John Volpa, for the Pine Barrens Sampler, a three-hour exploration of Pine Barrens life. This program includes a shore walk to learn about the uplands and Atlantic Cedar Swamp habitats, conduct a water quality survey, try dip and seine netting. You will discover native plants and animals around every corner of the trail as you walk an easy pace. Find out what fish, frogs, and bugs can tell you about their Pine Barrens home.

April Moonlight Walk

Come explore Whitebog Village and the bogs by moonlight! This special opportunity is scheduled on or as close to the full moon as possible. The New World

Gordon Theater, Rutgers University-Camden

The Symphony in C season comes to a close with the winning entry from the annual Young Composers Competition and introduces violinist Philippe Quint. Philippe is described as "a handsome dark-haired young man with a flair for fashion, a 1708 Stradivarius, and a fabulous technique." Philippe will play Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D Major. He will also be playing Dvorak's beloved New World Symphony, which describes the "endless acres of field and meadow" of Spillville, Iowa where Dvorak spent the summer of 1893.

Zula Patrol: Under the Weather

Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University, Glassboro

The stalwart heroes of the Zula Patrol are on an expedition collecting samples of weather for scientist Multo's research - using their loyal pet Gorga's ability to collect and bottle all kinds of weather. But when the Zula gang inadvertently hurts Gorga's feelings, he decides to leave Zula and find another planet to live on. Interplanetary villain, Dark Truder, then tricks Gorga into stealing the weather from other planets. The Zula Patrol finds out and goes after him - in the process learning all about the weather, both terrestrial and interplanetary. Don't miss this exciting show at the Edelman Planetarium!

Salem County Brass Society Spring Concert

Davidow Hall, Salem Community College, Carney's Point

The Salem County Brass Society, under the direction of Phil Blackman, is excited to perform its 43rd annual Spring Concert! The program will include a variety of musical style ranging from 16th century to the present. Again this year, in addition to the brass, the program will feature special guests, the Woodstown High School Chamber Choir, under the director of Kahlil Gunther. The brass will also present its annual scholarship and brass awards.
