A Willingboro man was fatally shot early Tuesday morning, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi and Willingboro Director of Public Safety Gregory Rucker said. Tariq Mughal, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called to the first block of Genesee Lane in Willingboro just before 2:30 a.m. They found his body in the street, but say he didn't live in the area in which he was killed. An autopsy was to be conducted Tuesday afternoon. Police are still searching for the shooter, and investigating a possible motive. Anyone with information that may be helpful to investigators is asked to contact the Willingboro Township Police Department Tip Line at 609-877-6958 or Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113.
