Here's a list of some upcoming events at the Cinnaminson Library.

CINNAMINSON, NJ - The following is a list of the events on tap for the Cinnaminson Library for the week of May 20-24, 2019:
Little Builders, Monday, May 20, 2019, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the meeting room: Come and build at the library! We have several fun STEM kits like Marble Run, Duplos, and more! Registration is not required!
The Open Book Club, Monday, May 20, 2019, 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.: This month’s book is “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo.” The Book Group meets in the Cinnaminson Branch Library meeting room the last Monday of every month, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted. New members are always welcome.

Minecraft, Monday, May 20, 2019, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the meeting room: Minecraft Education Edition! Kids ages 8-16 are invited to join a certified Minecraft Mentor, Mark Grundel
for fun and all things Minecraft! Please bring your own device to the program. Your device must be a Win 10 or Mac computer for the education edition to run.
Tai Chi, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 10:30 a.m. to noon: This is a beginner’s course in Qigong and Tai Chi, slow, gentle forms of exercise that help increase energy, flexibility, balance and body awareness. Those who suffer from bad posture, stiff joints, tension and instability should find the course especially helpful. No special equipment or attire required other than loose-fitting clothing and soft, flat-bottom shoes. This program is for adults only.

Cursive Class, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the meeting room: Have you ever wanted to sign your name in a fancy script? Read older documents (like the Declaration of Independence)? Write messages to your friends that other people can't read? It's time to learn cursive writing! Come in and learn cursive lettering and practice in fun ways at the library with Miss Kristie. Best for ages 7 and up.
Baby and Toddler Time, Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the meeting room: It’s time to shake, rattle, and roll! Babies and toddlers are invited to listen to stories, sing songs, and dance along at Baby and Toddler Time.
Scrabble Club, Wednesday, May 22, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the meeting room: Do you love a good game of Scrabble? Look no further. You have found kindred spirits with the new Scrabble Club forming at the Cinnaminson Library. Players of all levels and all ages are welcome to drop in, and we hope, stick around. It's stimulating, educational and most of all, lots of fun!
Chocolate and Canvas, Thursday, May 23, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the meeting room: We have chocolate! We have canvases! Put them together for a fun afternoon of painting. The library will furnish all the painting supplies you'll need. There is no formal instruction for this class, and no experience is needed. Create an acrylic painting of your own design or use one of our pictures as inspiration.
Toddler Dance Party, Friday, May 24, 2019, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Rock out for 30 minutes of guided dancing fun in this high energy, fun program. Wear comfy clothes and be ready to have some fun! Registration not required. This month the party will be over at the Cinnaminson Community Center (right across the parking lot). Staff will be on hand to direct you.
The Writer’s Clinic, Friday, May 24, 2019, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: This program will help you need help with writing tasks like:
- Resumes;
- Cover Letters;
- Filling out Forms (except for legal, financial and tax documents);
- Writing Projects (i.e. toasts, speeches, reports, essays, etc.);
- College Papers; and
- Letters.
Meet one-on-one with a professional writing instructor and get the job done! This program is for adults only.
