South Jersey's 2nd Annual Pet Wellness Symposium Returns to Palmyra April 18

Pet Wellness Symposium will include holistic care, nutrition, CPR, cat talk, dog behavior, children's activities and more.

South Jersey’s 2nd Annual Pet Wellness Symposium

  • Date: April 18, 2015
  • Organizer / Host: Lori Genstein, I’ve Got the ‘Scoop’!, LLC
  • Purpose: Fundraiser & Educational Pet Wellness Symposium - Annual Community Event
  • Goal: Veterinarians and pet experts present lectures and spend the afternoon with pet parents, professionals and animal lovers raising awareness to the benefits of wellness and holistic care, natural therapeutic options, appropriate nutrition and less-invasive methods of treatment to enhance animals’ health and well-being. Teach pet first aid/CPR, introduce children to community service projects, and assist them socially and emotionally through their interaction with therapy dogs.
  • Recipient of Donations: Boo Tiki Fund – a 501 (C)3 non-profit charity providing veterinary care for pets at risk of euthanasia or being relinquished to a shelter due to a family’s inability to pay for their care; striving to keep pets in their forever homes. Boo Tiki Fund’s web page

  • Children’s Activities: Reading to Furry Angels Therapy Dogs and Toy Workshops with Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter - Making environmentally-friendly toys to bring home to their pets and/or donate to homeless animals. Toy Workshops are sponsored by Palmyra’s own 5-Star Tutor, Professor Daniel Rosenthal, and benefit Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter.
  • Precious Pet Photos in the Symposium Program: ¼ page color Tributes in Memory of a Beloved Furry Angel, Show off a Special Lovie, Send Get Well or Birthday Wishes, Announce the Arrival of a New Furry Family Member, etc. Photos will also be posted on the symposium web page and Facebook page
  • Complimentary lunch, Raffles, Silent Auction, 50/50 & More! Accessible building, 1 block from Riverline Train Stop
  • Seeking Sponsors: There are various unique ways to support the symposium and Boo Tiki Fund while getting your business, products and services known!
