The Joseph Fund of Camden Holds Successful Annual Hand Up Gala
Members of The Joseph Fund Board of Trustees give a Hand Up at The Joseph Fund of Camden's Annual Hand Up Gala.

The Joseph Fund of Camden, a nonprofit that helps transform the lives of Camden residents, raised over $350,000 at its Annual Hand Up Gala held at The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Attended by 450 guests, proceeds from the sold-out event will benefit those in need who seek affordable housing, homelessness services and a quality education.
The Hand Up Gala is based on the philosophy that giving people a “hand up” instead of a hand out” has a much more profound impact on their lives, because with a hand up anyone can soar.
This year’s event recognized Anthony Perno, President and CEO, Cooper’s Ferry Partnership, as the recipient of the “Msgr. Robert T. McDermott Philanthropy and Community Service Award.” Generous supporters for The Hand Up Gala included: Presenting Sponsor, the Paris Corporation, joined by Platinum Sponsors, Intuit Financial Freedom and McHenry Creative Services, and Gold Sponsors, Domenica Foundation, First Montgomery Management and M Financial Planning Services.
